ASUM Connect Community
Overview
Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM) is the peak body for medical ultrasound in Australia and New Zealand. The organisation's mission is to foster a collaborative community of highly competent health professionals who deliver ultrasound excellence.
Our team worked closely with ASUM to implement a modern membership platform which uses Higher Logic's platform that will enable ASUM to better support the ultrasound community over the course of their professional career.
Through ASUM Connect, which uses Higher Logic's platform, ASUM members have access to exclusive content that includes news and updates, events, products, and services as well as easy access to resources.
Updated web Style guide
We converted the pre-existing style guide into a web design style guide while maintaining brand consistency and ensuring all major visual components are consistent across all pages and elements. The work included developing design web style guides for buttons, icons, components, and panel styling.
Responsive & editable carousels
We modified the out-of-the-box Higher Logic carousel to include html text as well as two different colour/patterned selectable overlays. Customisable carousels also allow for minimal image editing, responsive carousel designs, and web readable elements.

The final results
As a result, ASUM Connect is an interactive community website that is user-friendly, intuitive, and visually appealing. It aligns with ASUM's mission to establish a collaborative, multidisciplinary community of ultrasound professionals that can connect and learn from each other, and provide assistance through COVID-19 by becoming the trusted source of truth and support (both professionally and personally).
